Kid Nation prediction

#1 Post by MarleysGh0st » Wed Dec 05, 2007 10:22 am

Every kid who has been serious candidate for a gold star has gotten one in the new few episodes, so this week should be Zach's turn. That will leave next week for Taylor's sudden and miraculous transformation into the hardest worker in town, earning her the gold star and a big finish.

Or not. :P

Commercials have been promoting an encounter with a Native American village this week. No clue if that will simply be a passing encounter, maybe using some of their games for the thematic Pointless Challenge, or if this will play a more significant role. Perhaps, following up on the "Can kids build a better town than adults?" theme, the council will end up voting next week to give Bonanza City back to the local tribe.

The show is over next week, right?

Right!

Next week is the grand finale, without any hint of what a satisfactory conclusion might be, since there won't be any final showdown for a $1 million prize or anything.

Actually, I was thinking of the last reward choice they could offer the kids:
Responsible choice: You get to stay here and continue "building the town".
Fun choice: Here's the school bus to drive you home.

Consider your options well, Town Council!

Somebody steps out of a shower and we learn that it was all just a dream.

So far as we've seen on the show, they don't have showers in Kid Nation!

Sanitary facilities are limited to those outhouses and the buckets of cold water they have to carry in from the one, old-fashioned hand pump outside of town. Or they could heat some of that water on top of the wood stove...

The kids always seem to clean up remarkably well, despite this deficiency.

When the cameras aren't rolling, each child probably has their own trailer, make-up artist and hairstylist.

I don't think a hairstylist would want to take credit for the wild mops some of those kids have now! :P
