Great defense- can't shoot for shit.

I intuit a Sweet 16 exit again...unless they get a weak bracket.

I thought this was going to be about Brad Pitt, and maybe that he left Angelina Jolie, and I could start watching his movies again. Oh well.

You think? Tonight's stats:

Field goals .413
3-pointers .421
Free throws .800

Good enough for an 8 point win on the road against the #1 team in the country.

And yet I predict how Pitt will do every year.

Of course...that is a little easy!

I said they play great defense, didn't I?

What I saw tonight won't get it done come tourney time.

Pitt leads the Big East in field goal percentage:

I assume that was before tonight's big win. They are #2 in 3-point percentage, behind Notre Dame.

So any great defense they play would just be an added bonus.

you are great in predicting after the fact

you must have deep seated competency and/or self esteem issues

it is very creepy

they have not played great defense this year
they routinely are letting opponents shoot in the high 40s
but they are great on the boards, and dont turn the ball over very much
fields leads the nation in assisst/to ratio

uconn is leading or close to 1st in fg% defense this year.I think they were around 38%.So Pitt did fine tonite.

jeemie obviously has not been following the team
