Why are there links highlighted now?

#1 Post by christie1111 » Mon Feb 16, 2009 1:16 pm

It looks like it is doing it automatically.

Let me try one that was highlighted before...

Lincoln.

I'm not sure what you were trying to do, but you've got to link it to something. Like this:

Lincoln

No, when I was here before there we a few words highlighted in green with a double underline. I clicked on one and it took me to an ad.

If a bot was here looking for stuff, would it do that?

I don't see it in one of the places it was before.

Either that or I am losing it.

Clearly another possibility.

That sounds like a add-on (either one you added deliberately or malware you don't want) on your own browser or PC. They'd just love to get you to look at their ads, no matter what you're reading.

Transient though. It isn't happening now.

Do you remember what word was highlighted? Brand names? Try typing those same words again.

That is why I had typed in Lincoln as a test.

Management in the president list one was also.

Not anymore.
