Speaking of Toplessness

#1 Post by themanintheseersuckersuit » Sat Feb 07, 2009 3:01 pm

The temperature today hit 66 with bright sunshine, so I had to drop the top on the silver seersucker solstice for the first time. The sun felt good on my face
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

72 and sunny. What a difference a week and a little bit south can make.

I've never heard a toupee referred to as a silver seersucker solstice.

I went ATV riding in the mountains yesterday. Somewhat surreal to be cruising along in mid-60 degree weather with lots of sunshine while driving through snow on the trails. Fun though.

We went from a low of 20 to a high of 74 in 48 hours. I like the 74 better.

It was 69 degrees when I left work this afternoon.

That number won't be back for a while. We're expecting rain on and off with temperatures in the 50s over the next few days.
