That's probably closer to the truth than you realize. While I was growing up, Natrona County High School served pretty much the entire county -- and it's a big one by the standards of other states. To reach football opponents for non-home games involved buses, cars, trains, and the occasional chartered plane. We went as far away as Rapid City, S.D. My first track meet was in Boulder, Colorado, as no other Wyoming school had girls' track.
