The next bailout recipient - Mexico?
Is Mexico going to be the next recipient of a U.S. Government bailout? With their economy on the verge of collapse, it wouldn't surprise me. One of their primary sources of revenue is oil and with the price of oil hovering in the $45 range, Mexico is hurting. Also, with so many Mexican nationals heading back to their homeland due to lack of work here, many of the dollars that were being sent back home are no longer there. Then, there is the suffering tourism trade. With kidnappings, drug-related crime and the like on the rise in Mexico, their tourism trade is in decline. So, are they next?

How about we exchange about 5 million immigrants for 5 billion dollars? Sounds fair to me.

When we bail out Iceland, you can worry about Mexico, too.
What other countries have we bailed out? Besides shipping all customer service jobs to India, that is.
Relax.

I am perfectly relaxed, BHM. I'm just just throwing the thought out there.Big-Haired Mini wrote:When we bail out Iceland, you can worry about Mexico, too.

I would think that if Iceland were our border neighbor and we imported close to 10% of our imported oil from there then, yes, I would have said the same for Iceland.
