Charlotte weather question from a Cards fan

When it says 40 per cent chance of showers on Saturday how often will it rain?

I dunno....from the 40 yd line to the goal line?
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

It will rain for an hour or so in the afternoon but normally is done by game time.

It will switch at halftime to stay on the Cardinals side.

There will be plenty of cameras this time!

They had a similar play in a bowl the other day, on the end-zone interception by UConn. It wasn't clear if the defender stepped out of bounds early in his return (same deal as Steve Smith, with the toe in-bounds and the heel out, but not touching), but there was an official right on top of him so you have to trust them.

I really hope it doesn't rain on our big night. No matter what the weather, though... we should be alright. You obviously can't guarantee a win in the playoffs, but I feel very good about this one. I'll say that a 38-24 victory will continue our streak of never losing before the conference championship game.

At least in AZ desert when it says 40 per cent chance of rain it means if it rains at all there is a 40 per cent chance that the rain won't evporate before it hits the ground.
