Spock's Book Club

#1 Post by Catfish » Mon Dec 29, 2008 3:01 pm

Hey, Spock:

I've started The Bones of Plenty and am up to May 1933. You were right; it is most excellent, and educational. I just want to slap that dad upside the head though. When Melly finishes it, you will have to call an official meeting of the book club. You make up the discussion questions, and I'll bring the wine.

Love,
Catfish

It is a few years since I read it.

Has the barn burned by then?

The part about what the barn meant and so forth-really spoke to me-Obviously it was 40 years before my childhood-but that part sang to me.

Uh, no. You may have to be fired as book club host.
