Proof Americans are geographically challenged
Sploofus asked me today which state is directly south of the state of Washington. Only 72.7% got it right! 
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

I agree that in general, Statesiders are geographically challenged. Having said that, I still wouldn't draw that conclusion from a Sploofus percentage. I should have added that the highest percentage I've ever seen on a question is 81 percent. I guess the percentage error is probably closer to 5%, not 20% as I had imagined. So I'll go try today's Sploofus after all.
