"Mmmm, is that meat I smell?"

Burger King has introduced a men's body spray called "Flame", billed as "the scent of seduction with a hint of flame-broiled meat".

I suppose it's better than "Adidas", which does not conjure up an image of any appealing scent.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

I am reading a book that claims that around 1900 there was a brief fad of using gasoline as perfume to evoke the new American love affair with the automobile.
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.
