MVC Holiday Show

#1 Post by kusch » Sat Dec 13, 2008 9:25 am

Well, the MVC Holiday show was like no other Holiday show, program, concert or performance I had ever attended. It was Thursday night in Minneapolis. We got home late last night.

MVC--Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders. Hard bodies, every single one of them. :D

The show also had the All Stars--about 40 5-14 year olds, the "A" team--alumni of former Viking cheerleaders(age is not a good thing sometimes :o ) and the Training Team--24 "potential" future Viking Cheerleaders. My daughter Beth is on the training team. They all performed various dance routines to mostly holiday songs. Of course Beth was one of the best of the training team. :D She says that about 8-10 of the current team will retire (is that not a strange word for a cheerleader) after this year so she feels that she has a good shot for next year. We will know next April.

It was a fun visit to the cities and I am glad we came home yesterday. It is starting to storm and we are to get 2-4 inches of snow today, wind picks up tonight and 4-8 more inches of snow tomorrow. I am off to the grocery store to stock up.

Well, where are the pictures? Does the team need a photographer for their calendar shoot in Barbados?
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.
