It's pretty much a cubicle graveyard here today - I was the first one in (usually there are three or four others here ahead of me) and I've seen (or heard from) two others. Although we have to be open today, the commander has what he calls a "liberal leave policy" that permits offices to run with skeleton crews. So I expect to have a pretty quiet day, giving me the chance to catch up on a couple of matters.

Yesterday's Thanksgiving meal was outstanding as always. This year, however, elwing had a little more kitchen help than in the past - instead of just I being there to do odd chores, our daughter-in-law helped out. We also had friends who brought desserts, and a good time was had by all.
