RIP Catherine Baker-Knoll

Lt. Governor of PA, at age 78. She was from the same neighborhood as my mom (although a few years younger), and they were friends back in the day. Nice lady.

There is something wrong in a government where they who do the most have the least. There is something wrong when honesty wears a rag, and rascality a robe; when the loving, the tender, eat a crust while the infamous sit at banquets.

One of my co-workers in DC was friends with Knoll's son, Albert.

She also said Mrs. Knoll was a very nice lady.
