Well, sort of. They handed out tickets to people in the Armed Services for the taping of the show for Veteran's Day. SIL got into his dress uniform and travelled into LA with a number of buddies. He didn't make Contestants Row, but someone else he knew did.
He'll probably be indistinguishable from the others in the audience (we're told that all servicemen in dress uniforms look alike - they're uniform, so to speak). We're taping the show anyway.
