Rahm Emanuel to Be Chief of Staff

Several news sources have confirmed that IL Congressman Rahm Emanuel will be Obama's chief of staff.

For those out there who thought Obama would usher in a new era of liberal/progressive reform, I told you so. (Add to that the fact that Nancy Pelosi is starting to spin like crazy trying to dial down people's expectations of what Obama is going to do his first few months in office.)

For those out there who thought Obama would usher in a new era of bipartisanship, I told you so.

And isn't it interesting that now, after the election, there's a few main stream reporters and commentators actually saying in print that they really don't know who Obama is or what Obama is going to do and that it would be a good idea to try to try to pin him down on specifics. Where have you guys been the last six months?
