to my office is also giving free coffee today.

This has nothing to do with freebies, but I won't antagonize Beast
and start a new thread. 8)

I got diesel fuel for my car for less than $3.00 a gallon. Woo hoo!! Regular was $2.16.

Gas was $1.95 in Kansas City this past weekend.

With all this economic turmoil at least we have one bright spot we can thank our lucky stars for...

Well, you do realize that this was just an attempt by oil companies to lull folks into voting Republican. Prices will likely spike up a dollar/gallon by the end of the week.

Speak to your legislators. As Wintergreen might say, send them a stern e-mail. The last time I looked it up, Connecticut had the second-highest gasoline taxes in the country, behind only California.
