Certainly not your fault and I would think they would
be aware of it by now. Sorry you are having to deal with this.

That's the only fair thing to do. A fund raiser is just that - the lastPlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:Apparently two people who bought tickets to a Simon Evening of Giving... thing you need are bank fees to deduct from the proceeds.

How about asking only for the bank fees? Then don't invite them to any more fundraisers.

Well, considering the event, you really can't do that. But fees and the actual money for the ticket is valid.SportsFan68 wrote:How about asking only for the bank fees? Then don't invite them to any more fundraisers.
And anyhow, maybe they had their acct got hacked into by an Ebay fraud person, kind of thing.....

Will you accept a check?PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:Apparently two people who bought tickets to a Simon Evening of Giving... Innocent, naive and whimsical. And somewhat footloose and fancy-free.

I would have asked them what they wanted to do to fix the problem.
My experience is that people often volunteer to do more than I would have asked them to do to fix a problem they caused.

That is, only when I am not annoyed at them or making them feel like they are idiots and a problem for me.
