My Pretty Lady, My Boonie and their parade

#1 Post by MissDenise » Fri Oct 31, 2008 9:39 am

They are silly people.

Red shirts. They are wearing red shirts. For two days now. Not a flattering color for My Pretty Lady (although My Boonie looks very good).

They have put these very silly things in the window. They are nice and soft. My Pretty Lady calls them rally towels.

My Pretty Lady is very distressed because she cannot go to a parade today. She must work. A big project due at the close of business.

This does not make sense to me but I know she must work. How else will I get my Fancy Feast? I explained this to her. Although she did a FINE job rubbing my ears and scratching my back as we talked, this did not comfort her at all. (Pretty Lady is an excellent ear rubber and back scratcher. That is the chief reason I keep her around.

My Boonie cannot go to this parade either because he is concerned about his neck. He doesn't want to fall and get hurt.

He is going to watch it on television and tape it for the Funny Old Seashore Lady. They will give it to her and she will give my snackies, so I consider this a very fair bargain.

Pretty Lady just called to complain to My Boonie that she cannot watch this parade at work. Something about IT and firewalls and ComcastSportsNet. It made no sense to me.

They stayed up late to watch Cole Hamels on television. I like Cole Hamels because he has a cool name. But I do not understand why they are so excited about him.

Everyone there hasn't been a good Phillies pitcher since Tim Mouser in 1993.
