Palin's 'going rogue,' McCain aide says

#1 Post by Bob Juch » Mon Oct 27, 2008 10:01 am

With 10 days until Election Day, long-brewing tensions between GOP vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin and key aides to Sen. John McCain have become so intense, they are spilling out in public, sources say.

Several McCain advisers have suggested to CNN that they have become increasingly frustrated with what one aide described as Palin "going rogue."

When I first read this, I read "going rogue" as "going commando," and thinking, "This is more than I need to know."
I am about 25% sure of this.

I thought it said "going rouge", and her makeup adviser had suggested some changes.
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.

I think that would be a great moneymaking job for you, Rexer! Forget this 10-bucks-a-pop stuff and become a makeup pro! You can gouge 11 grand a month!

Sounds good, but I just exhausted my complete knowledge of makeup.

OK, but do I have to have surgery to keep my fingers permanently crossed?

Glad to hear it. I, like several other people I know, am actually voting for Palin. McCain just happens to be on the same ticket. IMO, she is the only candidate who "get's it" (and get your mind out of the gutter).

No, she doesn't know everything and doesn't know all the world leaders. But, from all accounts she is a fast learner and
will get there soon. Also, it is obvious that she not part of the "good ole boy" system in the Beltway and is not entrenched
in that Washington mindset.

rec
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

My kids play World of Warcraft, in which one of the character classes is the rogue. I've watched them play and am amused at how many times someone will send a message such as "Rouge looking for group" or "rouge needed to open lockbox".
