The Senator from Illinois will do a rally in Indianapolis then fly home to Hawaii.
His grandmother, who was released from the hospital late last week, is apparently very sick. The way it sounded, she may be in hospice care.
According to the campaign (Lee Cowan on Rachel Maddow's show right now), the plan is for Senator Obama to return campaigning on Saturday.
No matter what your political belief, say a prayer tonight for Madelyn Dunham.
