Tricked into registering Republican

#1 Post by Bob78164 » Sat Oct 18, 2008 2:22 am

Apparently, registration fraud is an issue on both sides of the aisle. The Los Angeles Times ran a random check of 46 people whose registrations had been changed from Democratic to Republican by a firm called YPM. More than 80% of those contacted said that they had no intention of changing party affiliation. --Bob

Well, unless its the primaries I don't think party affiliation means anything, though this is still not right, if in fact it is true.

But for a truly dispicable event see this article.

An Obama supporter assisted a mentally challenged person to vote. That person wished to vote for McCain, but the Obama supporter pulled the lever for Obama.
Jack Justice has been voting since he turned 18. Typically his family takes him to their neighborhood precinct. This time Primus Industries, his adult day rehab program, took him to vote. His family was shocked, but what shocked them more was that Jack claims that his aide commandeered his vote.

"They told me to vote for Obama, I said no I wanted to vote for McCain," said Jack Justice, a voter.

Jack Justice says the person helping him, selected Obama's name.
Lots of opportunity for insensitive jokes here.

Then there is this article about an Obama supporter beating up an old lady for carrying a McCain Pailin sign.

http://pajamasmedia.com/blog/obama-supp ... -new-york/

While the Democrat-leaning media continues to scare undecided voters with bedtime stories about some mythical angry McCain supporter whom nobody has seen, here is a real district attorney’s complaint documenting an unprovoked assault by an enraged Democrat against a McCain volunteer in midtown Manhattan: “Defendant grabbed the sign [informant] was holding, broke the wood stick that was attached to it, and then struck informant in informant’s face thereby causing informant to sustain redness, swelling, and bruising to informant’s face and further causing informant to sustain substantial pain.”

The overly formal document doesn’t mention this important detail: the victim was a small, quiet, middle-aged woman wearing glasses, and the attacker was a loud, angry man who went into orbit at the mere sight of McCain campaign signs.
And a 7th grade girl being called 'racist' because she wore a pink McCain Pailin shirt.

the seventh grader at New Smyrna Beach Middle School was called a racist by classmates for wearing a pro-Sarah Palin t-shirt.

Jones is volunteering at the Republican Headquarters in New Smyrna Beach. The Palin t-shirt was a gift from her fellow volunteers.
I have little doubt under an Obama Presidency these problems will go away. Go away as they will disappear. Like those problems disappear in other countries.
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.

War is where the government tells you who the bad guy is.
Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.
