However, the jackpot is considered a huge sum in Afghanistan, where the average annual income is under £200.
The article doesn't say if contestants will be selected by auditions or a phone game.

I wonder if women will be allowed to play. And I wonder with the state of education for most women in Afghanistan if there would be many eligible to play.
