Is Opus ending?

#1 Post by Bob78164 » Sun Oct 12, 2008 7:12 pm

I haven't been keeping up with Opus regularly, but I happened to catch it in today's paper and I couldn't help noticing a contest with the goal of predicting the location of Opus's final paradise. Is the strip ending? --Bob

Yes. Breathed recently announced that the strip was ending. He plans to spend more time writing children's books. I'm sure you can find several reports on Google News.

Yes it is, but the strip really wasn't the same without the other characters of Bloom County. I miss that more than I'll miss this Opus solo effort.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Now I know this twice over! It was a question in the Lightning Round on this week's podcast of "Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me!" :!:
