Last night my wife and I got really kinky (Photos!)

#1 Post by frogman042 » Sat Oct 11, 2008 10:14 pm

We went to see the live show "Two Gentlemen of Bologna" starring Kinky Friedman and Turk Pipkin!

It was a really fun show with the highlights being Kinky's touching rendition of John Prine's song "Ira Hayes" and Turk escaping from a straight jacket while reading out loud from the last chapter of "Old Yella".

So, be honest, is this the post you were expecting or was your mind in the gutter?

Okay. I am officially jealous of the photo of your wife with Kinky.

I am pleased to own a talking Kinky Friedman doll, because I knew he would get along so well with my Gov. Jesse Ventura and Ms. Cruella DeVil dolls, neither of whom can get a word in edgewise any more.

Our minds are never in the gutter around here. I'm shocked you
would even think so!

Was Turk hanging upside-down?

There's an old Penn & Teller bit where Teller is straight-jacketed and hung upside-down (above spikes). The other end of the rope goes up through a pulley and is anchored to the chair in which Penn is sitting. Teller has to escape before Penn finishes reading "Casey at the Bat" (IIRC). Once he is done reading, Penn is to get off the chair, so Teller had better escape before then. The joke is that just as Teller is starting to make headway, Penn starts reading REALLY, REALLY quickly.

Mrs. Frogman is so svelte!

It sounds, and looks, like you two had quite the fun time.

Put me down for "gutter".

I am jealous. Really.

And somewhat surprised. I had heard of Turk Pipkin only once before - as Harry Anderson's gullible sidekick in "Games You Can't Lose: A Guide for Suckers". Who knew?
