Sprots!

#1 Post by christie1111 » Sat Oct 11, 2008 6:04 pm

Hope you are cheering for Penn State tonight.

Unless you have some allegience to some Badgers I don't know about.

But I really feel for all our OK fans. Sorry guys. You played well.

I confess that I did not play well. I didn't catch a pass all afternoon, and I blocked like a girl.

I think I might have done better if I'd been wearing shoulderpads and a helmet.

Well, I was thinking of you and kept hoping your football player guys would do better.

And Hermillion too.

And yet a few hours ago, you congratulated the Texas fans, who contributed as much to the result as you did. That seemed equally misdirected. Perhaps the heartiest congratulations should go to those who found more productive ways to spend the day than to watch football. I am not among that group.

Well, I guess I could be more productive than watching Penn State play football tonight. But I could have sworn that when left Penn State, they made me take some pledge about always rooting for the team and talking trash about Pitt.

I've been waiting for four hours for AT&T to show up. That's not productive. I really wanted to go see a movie today.

I got a flu shot and they hit a nerve and I couldn't use my right arm for an hour. It was inconvenient because I was at the Placentia Hertiage Festival with Zap and needed that arm for leash handling.

I did root for Penn State 2nite. SteelersFan and I went to dinner at a local dive with televisions, and sumguy got hold of the barkeeper's clicker and changed the channel! So SteelersFan went over and asked him to change it back. Which he did, pronto!

We think the guy was looking for House.

Most excellent!

And as soon as the Penn State game is over, I will switch to Broncos cheering!

You are a GREAT addition to Broncos fandom!

When we win tomorrow, I'll give you all the credit.

If there is a horrific rift in the space-time continuum, and we somehow don't win, I'll blame the defense.
