coming soon to theaters

except for tgirlie who wont get them til 2010...


"W", an oliver stone film, starring josh brolin as W(isnt he a little young??), and Thandie Newton as Condi.
I dint see who eles was in it, but I think Lawrence Tierney would be fabu as Cheney.Of course James Earl Jones should be Powell, and Ashlee simpson should play the twins.But that goes without sayin

the story about the guy who invented the intermittent wiper.I read about him a few years ago, and said "that would make a great movie".Very Quixotic fellow.
I dont torture mallards all the time, but when I do, I prefer waterboarding.

I just heard an ad for that movie on the radio on my way to work this morning. I think it's called Flash of Genius. It sounds like the first major motion picture ever about patent litigation. If so, I'm there. --Bob (Reg. No. 55,619)

But it destroyed his life, his marriage and his relationship with his children. He was obsessed -- and to what end? By the time he won, he was dead.

A hollow victory.

He should have been Chester Carlson Carlson was a patent attorney and saw how long and difficult it was to make carbon copies.

He invented the Xerox machine. His patents were so tight that no one could come near a photocopier invention for DECADES. Eighteen companies turned him down, though, including GE, who said "there was no need for such a machine." Luckily, though, a company right here in ROCHESTER took him up on it.

He was inspired by how a neighboring company created its name. (Consonant - vowel - consonant - original consonant.)

So he and the team named the company Xerox.
