In related news, MVLease's Adders of the prestigious Bored Buddy Baseball League were toastified last night thanks to the 9th inning of a certain Mr. Jonathan Papelbon, who singlehandedly swung the championship game lead from the Adders to the Sorryassbastards of Tanstaafl. The Adders, who dominated the regular season in large part thanks to a healthy dose of Red Sox in their lineup, end up finishing in second place... the ultimate proof that you really do live and die with your favorite team.
Congrats to Tanstaafl on his 47230894733rd BBBL championship.....
The Evil Squirrels finish in, well, nevermind......

Toronto and New England were, in fact, toastified over the weekend. Next up are San Jose and Chivas USA.andrewjackson wrote:Continuing a tradition of crashing this thread, the Vancouver Whitecaps were toastified over the weekend. Their loss to Seattle means they cannot qualify for the MLS playoffs in their inaugural season. Next up are Toronto TC and the New England Revolution. They could both be toast this weekend. (NOTE: TFC is already virtual toast since they would not only have to win out while NY loses out to even have a chance to tie for the last playoff spot, Toronto would also have to make up a 28 goal deficit in goal difference. But, hey, you never know.)
No matter where you go, there you are.
