Having just gotten my 7500th hit a couple days ago, I am to the point where about the only goals left for me to achieve (Other than 10,000 hits) are county bingos. There are a few I am getting close too....

In my own state of Illinois, I have hits in 93 of the 102 counties. I am only missing Boone, Hamilton, Iroquois, Jasper, JoDaviess, Mercer, Moultrie, Scott and Stark counties. Scott, Moultrie, Jasper and Hamilton counties are all within 100 miles of me, so it's a bit frustrating that I've never gotten a hit in any of them yet. The rest are all in northern Illinois, however, none of the 9 counties remaining border each other, so it's truly just a smattering of stray counties I need yet to have them all.....

I have hits in 91 of Missouri's 115 counties (Actually, 114 counties and St. Louis city). Unlike Illinois, exactly half of the 24 counties I have left in the Show Me State are bunched together in the northwestern part of the state. You'd think with all the bills I've spent in Kansas City the past 6 years would have knocked out more of that section of the state, but I guess not. Heck, one of the counties I need is Clinton, which is just north of Clay, one of the three counties KC is within. There are three MO counties within 100 miles of me I have not hit yet.... Ralls, Maries, and Shannon.

Then there are the small states I am close in. I have 6 hits in Delaware, but they have all come in Sussex County, leaving me 2 short of collecting all 3 DE counties. I also need 2 counties in Connecticut... Middlesex and Tolland, but it seems like I've been stuck on those two forever. What's up with those two counties chirstie? I need 2 more counties in Rhode Island (Bristol and Newport). I am also getting close in Massachusetts with 11 of that state's 14 counties, needing only Bristol, Dukes, and the immortal Nantucket....

It would also be nice to pick up a Canadian province other than Ontario. All four of my Canadian hits have come from there.... as well as picking up a hit from Africa and that ever-so elusive Antarctic hit.....

And while I was away, I've gotten six hits. One was from Orlando, which was certainly a George I took with me to Disney World. Another on Monday was from Puerto Rico, which very likely was also a WDW George (I didn't specially note all the bills I took with me). Then there was also George I entered in July, who showed up in Utah. This brings me up to ten states and one U.S. territory.
