Hey, Vandal:
It appears that the answer reveal re widows and orphans has the terms reversed. It s/b orphan at the bottom, widow at the top.

Yikes. I have orphans on the master list and still screwed it up. Let me go back and fix it for everyone.Catfish wrote:Hey, Vandal:

The 14 is right based on the orphan/widow correction.jarnon wrote:I think I got 3+2+1+2+2+1+5 = 16.Vandal wrote: jarnon ~~ 14

The Tony Awards have a category for Best Book of a Musical, is why I said book, but I agree that libretto is what we use for operas.
Not complaining or asking for a rescore, just splaining.

It wasn't the best way to word the question. I should have kept it at opera. However, further inspection reveals that book should be allowed:Ritterskoop wrote:The Tony Awards have a category for Best Book of a Musical, is why I said book, but I agree that libretto is what we use for operas.

Thanks for pointing it out to me.The Tony Award for Best Book of a Musical is awarded to librettists of the spoken, non-sung dialogue, and storyline of a musical play. Eligibility is restricted to works with original narrative framework; plotless revues and revivals are ineligible.

I was going to say that I watched both seasons of "Smash" and never heard "libretto," just "book." On a hunch, I looked up "libretto" just now, and it means "little book."Vandal wrote:It wasn't the best way to word the question. I should have kept it at opera.
