Those are not possible points. That "81-62" is his record by wins and losses so far this year. As Vandal points out he only picked 143 games this year while most of us have picked 159.

Hmmm. That makes me wonder why 159. There have been 160 games played. I wonder if the ties play into that but there have been 2 ties.

I assumed (based in part on rayxtwo's nearly-perfect record) that a failure to pick was simply counted as a loss. --Bob

Skippy didn't register until after Week 1, so none of those games went on his ledger at all...

I was puzzling over that as well, and then a quick look at the standings made me realize the NFL has broken from its usual tradition of having all bye weeks completed before Thanksgiving. The Browns and Titans still have byes coming next week, so an extra game has been played so far...

Since the two teams played in Nashville on October 16 (when only two other teams took a week off, as opposed to the normal four or six), I'm wondering if there was some kind of scheduling conflict that caused the date of that game to be moved from Week 13 to what would have been their bye week...

It's always kind of bugged me that the NFL doesn't ensure that a team coming off a bye week doesn't play another team coming off a bye week. It should be doable, though it does add yet another set of constraints to scheduling the season. --Bob

The easiest way to accomplish that is to have the bye weeks split up by division... then have those four teams play in-division the following week. That should be eminently doable...

I just wish I was doing this well in the Pick-Em Pool that a group of us play for cash money. Fourth place overall there is worth about $400. In that pool, The Baboo is currently in first place. If she can hold on for the last two weeks, she will collect over $1,500. Unfortunately for me, I am way out of the overall money but have a slight chance to win some money for the fourth session.

6. Vandalians 1148 136-86
7. Kroxquo's Spread Sheet 1123 132-90
8. LB's Evil Squirrels 1110 128-94
9. Skippy 1028 118-88
10. daks boys 254 26-196
11. rayxtwo 87 9-213

VikingsMark stays on top but TClark moves up to 2nd and Kelly's Heroes to 3rd.
Just 2 weeks to go with the top 4 all within 26 points.
Ouch.

Well, it's just as well. I was getting a nosebleed from being higher in the standings than I usually am...

TClark45 was 49 points down after week 10 and is now down 12.

Please don't let a millennial win. Again.

Week 16 results:

1. Skippy 105
2. The Boneheads 104
3. LB's Evil Squirrels 99
4. TClark45 87
5. VikingsMark 83
6. Vandalians 79
7. Andrewjackson 76
8. Kelly's Heroes 74
9. Kroxquo's Spread Sheet 73

Skippy wins a week. That means everyone who has played regularly has won a week. Except LB.

Standings:

1. VikingsMark 1317 155-83
2. The Boneheads 1312 150-88
3. TClark45 1309 150-88
4. Kelly's Heroes 1283 151-87
5. Andrewjackson 1256 147-91
6. Vandalians 1227 145-93
7. LB's Evil Squirrels 1209 140-98
8. Kroxquo's Spread Sheet 1196 141-97
9. Skippy 1133 130-92
10. daks boys 254 26-212
11. rayxtwo 87 9-229

The Boneheads jump into 2nd place. LB moves up to 7th place.
Just 16 more games. Looks like a 3-way race for the win.
No matter where you go, there you are.
