To get this off of the political tangent it's been on, this is an odd coincidence.
Every day, the Atlanta Journal publishes one or two obituaries of local residents who were what I would call semi-celebrities, not well known enough to make the national news or even the local 6:00 news but fairly well known locally. On Monday, next to James Garner's obituary, they posted one for Jim Garner, a horticulturist who was director of a public garden (one that I'd never heard of) in Milledgeville, a town about 100 miles south of Atlanta.

This James Garner's obituary appeared online last week, but they chose to publish it in the print version of the paper Monday.
RIP James Garner

I know I said I was gonna leave that Broncos avatar up until the Broncos won the Super Bowl, but I gotta break that pledge to put up my homage to James Garner. I've been a fan since the Maverick/Nichols/Rockford days, and the movie was no slouch either.
I miss him.
I miss him.

The endNow the way this story ends... is that they get married and he goes on to become governor of the state. Never gets to Australia, but he keeps readin' a lot of books about it. I get to be sheriff of this town... and then I go on to become one of the most beloved characters in Western folklore.
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.

War is where the government tells you who the bad guy is.
Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.
