My granola bar box is brand new, and full. When my poor son uncurled from the fetal position, it was just to lie down and stare into space, so I gave up on the idea of getting him to school and just dragged him along on my errands. He wanted to go to Petsmart to look at the hamsters. Which would have resulted in mom BUYING another hamster on the spot, so I had to say no. I want to wait until after the new year, since we'll be going to visit the NY contingent and I don't want to have to play "Where's The Hamster?" like we did after Thanksgiving.a1mamacat wrote:

When we got home, it was too dark for proper burial services, so Charlie is still in the freezer. I let Mini-me decorate the fake tree in the hallway with toilet paper, toothbrushes, paper plates, Erin's old shoes--anything silly he wanted to put on it. Including a rubber chicken. He had the giggles and can't wait to show Dad tomorrow (when said Dad will most likely tell him it has to go, seeing as how it's in the entrance hall...)
I think he'll be fine.
