Dead or Alive? Game 7 12-07-07
Identify each of the following personages as Dead or Alive. Then make your best guess at today's theme (my wording of the theme had only two words in it.) This game will be open until Monday 12/10 at 6 AM Central time.
1. Steven Ford Alive
2. Amy Carter Alive
3. Patrick Bouvier Kennedy Dead
4. Patricia Cox Alive
5. Doud D. Eisenhower Dead
6. Mary Margaret Daniel Alive
7. John Aspinwall Roosevelt Dead
8. Dorothy Koch Alive
9. Julie Eisenhower Alive
10. John F. Kennedy Jr. Dead
Theme was Presidential offspring. I found some I’d never heard of (Doud Eisenhower and Doro Bush Koch, for instance) and some I’d heard of maybe once long ago (Patrick Kennedy and J.A. Roosevelt). It’s interesting to me how many of our Presidents have had to deal with children dying at a very young age.

Up until about a century ago, that tragedy was commonplace; a quarter to a third of all children didn't survive to adulthood. When we get to more modern time, as with Patrick Kennedy, that becomes far rarer and, thus, more shocking.mrkelley23 wrote: It’s interesting to me how many of our Presidents have had to deal with children dying at a very young age.
