"The new phone books are here! The new phone books are here!" - Navin Johnson

It is an unwritten rule in our family, that any time we get a new phone book, the person who finds it has to run through the house screaming, "The new phone books are here! The new phone books are here."

No, I said I just tried it and it didn't work. Pay attention, Kiki!
You are showing as logged in over there though.....

That's weird. I logged in, got the usual mishmash, waited a second and saw no posts and then just paged back to the board index.

I wonder if I log in with my chat id if I'll see WCF logged in and the time will fold in upon itself. Ha!

wrong before you point it out!!

No, I was making you aware of how nice I am to you. If I was being mean to you, I'd be over there chatting without you!

FTR, WCF wasn't logged into chat, just logged in to the Old Bored Index....

Oh, I guess paging back doesn't unlog you.

Yes, I can log in, and I get a chat page, but there's no members list, just a cut off page of a bunch of nonsense and a blank chat screen.

Are you and Kiki there now? If so, I'll log into chat and see if you can see me logged and I'll wait a sec and see if I see any chat postings.

How many bookshelves do you have filled with old phone books?

Just one. Let me know if you ever need me to look up a number for you. Or the specific address of some business that no longer exists.

As far as Kindles, my cousin has one and loves it. It's relatively new and didn't have it before when the earlier thread was posted.

As far as phone books, my future BiL calls us when the new ones are in and yells it into the phone.
