I ordered a brand new Sony Vaio...should be here next week.
The keys on this computer don't make much noise so I'm not expecting any
on my new one.

When my supposedly gratuitous posts aggravated LB, I don't think he uses
the term Funny bird.

I just saw a headline last night on my gmail about Sony recalling several hundred thousand PC batteries. I didn't read it, so I don't know the particulars, but you might want to check it out.

I'll bet those Raspberries are getting recalled too.

Kay, you better hurry up and turn yours in before something blows up in it. I wouldn't want you to get hurt using it.....

I have a Sony Vaio now and haven't had any problems.
There was another battery recall a while back, but mine wasn't one of them
Hopefully, they won't ship me a new computer with a recalled battery!

The recall notice I found is for HP, Toshiba and Dell computers.
Looks like it's Sony battery, though.

Not sure, but I think there may be some internal algorithm that learns from your success history and sticks you with questions in those areas which are not your best.

Take it as a way of learning stuff you didn't know. I do. It's not like there's money involved, though the bragging rights around these parts are worth something.

It's not very accurate or responsive, and I often have to make a few tries to click exactly where I need to, so that probably costs me a second or two per question, on average, which might be a few thousand points per month, at least. If there were big bucks at stake, I'd get better equipment.

I'm actually having a good month so far. I haven't missed any questions yet. Didn't there used to be a place where you could see your average response time? I don't see it anymore, so maybe it now requires a paid subscription to see it.
