The squirrel is armed and dangerous

#1 Post by AnnieCamaro » Wed Aug 27, 2008 8:11 pm

I am awaiting an explanation for the following items -- some would say "weapons" -- found in my back yard today. All apparently were dropped or thrown from a high vantage point

1. A knife!

Image

2. Two chunks of broken concrete (only one pictured)

Image

3. A scrap of pliable metallic fabric of unknown composition, perhaps the kind of thing that would be used on the nosecone of a shoulder-fired rocket

I am a peaceable girl. I do not like being assaulted and/or "warned" by the appearance of weaponry in my own yard. If a certain squirrel can offer a more reasonable explanation of these objects, I would like to hear it.

Sincerely,
Annie

I think it was Miss Squirrlet in the backyard with a knife.

Do you need Swampyturtles to send a certain famous Honolulu Detective to investigate?

I can prove that the squirrel had a paw in the placement of of these weapons.

Miss Kay, I'm very sorry that my angry, ugly face scared you. I won't do that again unless I'm nose to nose with an Evil Someone. See, it's still me, Annie.

You won't be hard to find then, will you???

I don't think our game is on TV. I'll be wearing a shirt similar to Chapman's.

Annie, I have only one thing to say to you, my dear......

Image

Try duct tape next time. It has the same luster, but nobody will ever accuse you of being paranoid....
Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

--squirrelmama (10/3/07)

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

I was going to suggest the AFDB explanation for that metallic fabric, but I see Evil Squirrel has beaten me to it!
