To whom it may concern

#1 Post by AnnieCamaro » Wed Aug 06, 2008 9:11 pm

Even though my yard and all adjoining yards have no apple trees, nor have I seen an apple tree within a mile of my home, a shiny red apple currently lays in the middle of my back yard. The apple's position and a forensic inspection of the indentation made by said apple after its arrival leads me to conclude that it was heaved from a slight southerly angle at a height of 15-20 feet. If I were the suspicious sort, I might think it had been thrown from a non-apple tree at either me or Lizbit, but missed the target.

Cut it out! That could give a girl a headache! Besides, it's not nice to steal snacks from the little kids who live a few doors down.

I name no names, but I suspect a certain someone with a a big furry rear end and a bushy tail.

Sincerely,
Annie

I think Evil Squirrel is hiding tonight. Especially if he is stealing apples from little kids.

I think Annie is being paged. I'm pretty sure of it.

I know nothing..... nothing!!!!
Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

I think I still have my, um, apples.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.
