Surgery Up-date

#1 Post by christie1111 » Fri Jul 18, 2008 9:17 am

She is in surgery. It is expected to be 8 3/4 hrs long.

Not fun at all.

She did enjoy the meal I made for her last night at her request.

She asked for Pork, mashed potatos and corn.

I made Bacon wrapped pork tenderloin medallions with apple/calvados sauce. Along with the other required elements.

Sounds like a wonderful dinner. I hope the surgery goes well. That's a long time to wait. Hoping for the best.

Is it a bad thing that I'm salivating at the dinner description?

Out of surgery.

Waiting to see her in ICU. She will not be awake for a while.

Thanks for all the good thoughts

Glad to hear she's out. Continued prayers and good wishes for a speedy recovery.

One big hurdle over - now let's have her recover ahead of schedule.

Sleep in, Christie. You deserve it.
