He signed an Accord on Super Intelligence along with the leading AI CEOs. Giving AI a new scary name ought to be enough to get the tech giants to self-regulate.

To his credit, he withdrew 2,500 troops from Iraq, fulfilling a commitment made in 2024. Fewer easy targets for Iranian bombs. And he did it without the government toppling and thousands of pro-U.S. locals desperately fleeing the country.

Biden's handling of the Afghan withdrawal was disastrous and set his approval rating on a downward spiral from which he never recovered. However, the situation in Iraq today is nowhere near analagous to Afghanistan in 2021. There are no organized anti-government forces in Iraq that are anywhere near the equivalent of the Taliban.

I think I missed a day over the weekend, so I wanted to do another post today.

Trump, as you know, has been running ads on television, essentially promoting himself for the upcoming midterm election where his party will lose. An upcoming one is called “So God Made Trump.”

Unfortunately, for him, he used taxpayer dollars for the the ads, even saying such at the bottom of the screen. This of course is terribly illegal.

He claimed that this is very standard and that every president does this (he is the first), but clearly upon advice of council, he has announced that he is going to get “Maga Inc.” to pay for it instead, which means that instead of the taxpayers paying for us, his gullible bumpkin followers will instead.
