#8. "Stuck" - Stacie Orrico (2003)

By teens for teens. Orrico wrote and recorded this song about unhealthy relationships high school girls find themselves in when she was just 16. Though "Stuck" wasn't a huge hit in the US, it was a Top 10 hit in many European countries, and first made its way to Mecca Radio in the mid-2000's, returned in repetitive form in 2009, and even wound up on one of the Mecca CD's! The consummate Mecca earworm, and I absolutely love this song...

#7. "Move Your Feet" - Junior Senior (2002)

This song came out of absolutely nowhere to become a nearly nightly earworm on Mecca Radio last year... and just as quickly disappeared. But I certainly enjoyed it while it was there, as it is an excellent dance tune! Junior Senior is a Danish duo that, despite the name, are barely two years apart in age. This is one of the few entries in this countdown where I linked to the video, and while not the only countdown song whose video had a squirrel in it (#40, "Stand"), this pixelated squirrel is plain nuts!
