Trump sent you a nice tweet over Truth Social. You won’t get much more than that from him, so you might as well frame it.

We told you he only cares about giving billionaires tax cuts, and he would cut everything else to give them those tax cuts, plus raise our national debt into the stratosphere. We’re already paying $88 billion dollars a month in interest on our national debt, and now it’s going to be more.

But you didn’t want to listen, did you? So now you will have to deal with this on your own. It’s very sad. Thoughts and prayers for Texas. We didn’t do this to you.

You did.

Bob, I don't like Trump either, but this sort of thing at a time like this is not helpful.

I can't argue with that. He's narcissistic, incoherent, vindictive, unstable, petty, rude, and just plain despicable. But since he doesn't make any effort to hide any of that, I would say that makes him pretty genuine.

Pretty funny. I'd use every one of those adjectives to describe any one of the so called 'leaders' of the democrat party.

AOC. Crocket, Hilary, Schumer, Maxine Waters, Hakeem Jeffries. As well as the innumerable lower level 'judges' and lawyers who think they are running the country.

But I would add the adjective 'stupid'.

Not quite a perfect avatar for the current Democratic Party leadership, but it is pretty good. Thanks Elwood!

So much for the flooding... oh, and not a whole lot of possibility for advance warning. Warnings were issued. Not a whole lot of sirens etc out there. Stupid idiots who blame lacks in nws. Grow the fuck up.

I was watching an interview last night with one of the survivors who stated that they did get the warnings, but everyone ignored them. In a way, I get that. We have so many tornado warnings here that my happy ass was on the couch when one hit our neighborhood last year. A large mistake.

In the same interview, a Kerr County commissioner was talking about a siren warning system for flooding in the area that was voted down because of the expense. It was interesting to me when he said he wished he could go back and change his vote. Too little, too late, and now over 100 people dead. For want of a siren.

Don't ignore warnings. Even if you think they're stupid.

Amen. Although I'm not sure there would have been much more time available even with a siren. Flash floods kinda have their own timeline.
