So you think my sister should have left the father of her child without insurance because, why? Admittedly this is less of an issue now thanks to the Affordable Care Act (passed without a single Republican vote), but that didn't exist yet.
I'm not the least bit wishy washy about this issue. I generally don't care about the private lives of candidates, as long as they don't campaign on them or support government regulating private and consensual conduct. I will point out, though, that it was Donny who disregarded his own marriage vows.
There's no evidence that Ms. Harris (then a private citizen) cheated on anyone. Any issue with Brown's marriage is between him and his then-wife, and is not her problem. By all accounts, Brown's wife had no issue with what he was doing, so everyone else should (in the words of Governor Walz) "mind their own damn business." --Bob

Brown was still married, so if ya wanna get technical it was cheating. I don't care cause she/they worm their way about definitions.
As, it seems, your sis might have? Why wasn't her ex husband on his own insurance to begin with?
Hmm?
Because he was injured on the job and could no longer work. Wanna do any more moralizing about people you know nothing about?
Why do you assume that insurance was his responsibility in the first place? Because he's the guy?
And no, it's not cheating if the only two members of the former marriage are on board with what's happening. It's simply none of anyone else's business. That includes the non-married partner. And it sure as hell includes the rest of the world, present company very much included. --Bob

No, because it was probably in both their names? Family? Do you know how insurance works? Were they also under the same auto and house insurance?
Well, then

Like many if not most workers, she had health insurance available for her family through her job (for an insurance company at the time, by the way). As long as they stayed married, he was eligible for coverage that way. If they'd gotten divorced, he wouldn't have been. --Bob

Whichever one gets her attention. She is utterly irrelevant.

Here's a list of 200 RINOs. All people I've never heard of, but all people of the Washington DC swamp.
These are people who have never been elected to anything, yet have been given power, and are proud to list their credentials as if I should care who they are going to vote for. And their continued hold on their positions is threatened by one of the candidates for President. So they will abandon all their 'conservative' viewpoints, and vote for condescend to advise us to vote for, someone who is opposed to every conservative value they pretend to have. Because of their personal situations. They don't even have the ethics to say they can't vote for either of the candidates. They are all in for the swamp when it counts. These are the people who cumulatively make up Big Brother in 2024, 40 years removed from 1984.
That is what a RINO is, ear.

If I was Liz Cheney, I certainly would vote for Kamala Harris.
It’s not even because of policy. When Trump supporters threaten to kill you, that might motivate you to vote for the other person.
Since you’re in the middle of it, you don’t understand what we appreciate. You are mouth breathing moron, as are your allies. Do I think one of the more feral Trumpers actually wants to kill me? No. Would I be surprised if it happened, though? Not really.

How many death threats do you think trump gets on an hourly basis, doc? Not to mention someone who tried and missed? (Well, according to the current narrative, anyway)

Something I notice with increasing frequency, especially among the more rabid anti-Trumper: they fabricate an event or occurence in their fevered brains, something with little-to-no basis in fact, then get all fired up at the subject of their fantasy for doing what they've imagined the subject did. It's bizarre, really.

Forget the Cheneys. Here’s the only endorsement that matters:
In a post on her Instagram account, Swift said she watched the debate, has done her research and made her choice on who to support in 2024 race.
“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,” Swift wrote.

Look, I know you’re not the brightest, but did you think that Putin was throwing that out there just so that dummies like you might think that he actually wants the Democrats in charge?
What actually would be motivation for wanting Trump to lose? Trump has made it very clear that he would give Putin a lot more breathing room in Ukraine and likely withdraw us from NATO.

Gee, doc, no; I had no idea someone might try an influence someone else in the media! Is that how that works? Wow, the things I learn here. And, "dummies"? Do you attend the same "under the bleachers with twelve-year-old boys" classes on insulting people that wbtrav does? Needs work.

Here you go, ear.
The difference between a RINO (Speaker Jon Burns) and a Republican who stands up to corruption (Colton Moore). Unfortunately, the GA legislature is full of RINOS. We're trying to change that. Burns will be primaried next election if he isn't thrown out before then.

Speaker Johnson removed Mike Turner, chair of the intelligence committee and member of the influential gang of eight, because he has criticised Trump and supported Ukraine. Does Turner qualify as a RINO?

The X post didn't provide much in the way of background, so I did a little research. Apparently Moore was banned after impugning the memory of a late member of the Georgia legislature during a ceremony to honor that legislator, and with the legislator's family present. He was suspended from the GOP caucus for breaking the rules. So he's the true Republican and all the others are not. More and more I'm convinced that RINO means someone insufficiently loyal to the Dear Leader.

You didn't do quite enough research.
David Ralston, while he was in the legislature wrote and helped push through a law called "Legislative Leave". That helped him create a business of taking on slimy clients and delaying their court cases for years.
Let Sen Moore explain it to you.
So the question was" Why are they honoring this man?" Sen Moore expressed his opinion and did not cause any disturbance.
That was the speech that Speaker Burns objected to.
You want more?
So Speaker Burns banned him. Out of a personal disagreement. Then, a year later, sent his staff to prevent Sen Moore from representing his constituents like a petty dictator.
These are the kinds of politicians that get elected to represent us. It doesn't matter what party they belong to. Jon Burns showed himself to be one of those scumbags, and we want these out of our party.
I am just giving you the facts, ear. Your use of 'Dear Leader' shows that you have no use for facts. But thanks for listening.

I listened to Moore's speech; the video was over an hour long and I didn't have the time to hear it all. From what you posted, Moore had a valid point regarding the conduct of the late legislator. That said, I don't see why Speaker Burns is therefore a RINO because he disagreed with Moore.
Maybe I need to reframe the question. Can you name one Republican politician or elected official who is currently opposed to the Trump agenda and is not a RINO? Please don't name those who ran against Trump in the primaries, because all of them with the exception of Christie and Pence have fallen in line.

I would say that what you term 'Trump's agenda' is the republican party agenda. As the elected President, he is the leader of the Republican party. Not everyone in the party agrees 100% with his agenda. For example, Thomas Massie and 2 others initially did not go along with his endorsement of Speaker Johnson. Massie was not persuaded. But he is not a RINO, and neither are the others. They expressed their opposition, but eventually came together for the good of the party. Trump didn't want McConnell to be the Senate Majority Leader, nor did he want Thune, but he stayed away from endorsing anyone, and the Senators elected Thune. I would not categorize all of the Senators who voted for Thune as RINOs, but there are a lot of them in the Senate. I have come to understand through experience that Republicans are very independent-minded and it is like herding cats to get them all to agree on one thing. Only the ones that actively support the swamp agenda and those that mindlessly attack Trump like the TDS crowd does are RINOs in my book.
You might focus more on your party, which in this instance, like most others, fall in perfect unanimous line on every issue against anything endorsed by Trump, whatever it is.

Thank you. That is the clearest, most concise definition I have heard from you.
