Fani Willis's office has also appealed Judge McAfee's decision dismissing six counts (three involving Trump) on the grounds that the language of the indictment was too vague in regard to those counts. The DA didn't appeal initially because they didn't want to hold up the proceedings, but now that the Court of Appeals will take up the disqualification motion, they have asked the Court to rule on this dismissal as well. There may be some other ruling that the judge has made that will also be decided in this appeal as well. If Willis' appeal on the dismissal succeeds, Trump's felony indictment count goes back up to 91.

There is a difference between "expressing a viewpoint" and fraud and defamation, which is how these people got into trouble. "Lawfare" as you put it, is how our legal system works. We leave it to judges and juries to decide the facts. And the fact is that all of these claims of "rigged" elections haven't held up in court, not once. You would think that somewhere there would be a jury or judge who would uphold these claims. Now either Biden and dozens of state prosecutors, judges, and juries, have all rigged the system or the claims you've been pushing for years are baseless. The "lawfare" that was committed in 2020 was by Trump and his group of co-conspirators who tried unsuccessfully to raise bogus claims of a rigged election to stay in power.

What the election board found was that mistakes occurred, that they could not determine how many duplicated ballots were double counted or how that would have affected the final count. Even if every duplicated vote was a Biden vote, it still would not have affected the final result.

And have you ever considered that Trump operatives might have rigged the vote in the 100+ smaller counties in Georgia that Trump carried by big margins? We know for a fact they broke into at least one election office in Coffee County.

What the election board found was that many laws had been broken, and that the ability to independently verify what the SOS proclaimed as the results of the election is not possible at this point. That all the 'recounts' were unreliable, and the SOS and Fulton County refuses to allow access to data they are legally required to provide, and to the actual physical ballots from that election so that it can be validated. And there are enough inconsistencies in question to place the final result in doubt. Ed Lindsey is the only reason this did not go to the attorney general. This may change in July.

Joe Rossi's evidence was investigated and validated by Gov Kemp's office. Now it has been validated by the State Election Board. There is and always has been basis for Trump's questioning of the Georgia Results. That, sir, is beyond questioning. Do not keep ignoring the facts.

And it only took 3 1/2 years for it to come this far, and the state is still putting legal roadblocks and delays in the way, as they have been doing all along. They are NOT interested in truth.

New York's Court of Appeals, the equivalent of the Supreme Court in most states, has declined to hear Trump's appeal from the denial of his motion to remove the gag order in his hush money fraud case. So, the order will stay in place, at least until the sentencing hearing in July.

This raises the question of where the second Trump/Biden debate will be held. Perhaps, Riker's Island, where Trump may be staying for the next year or two. It's not as comfy as Mar-a-Lago but he'll get to meet a lot of new roommates.

A Nevada state court judge has dismissed the case against six fake Trump electors from the 2020 election, saying that the case was improperly brought in Las Vegas instead of Carson City (the state capital), where the fraud allegedly occurred. The State Attorney General will appeal to the Nevada Supreme Court. If the Supreme Court upholds the dismissal, the State may not be able to reindict the electors in another county because the three-year statute of limitations has expired since the initial fraudulent actions in December 2020. I'm not sure if filing the case in Las Vegas tolled the statute of limitations or not, but that's another issue the state Supreme Court would have to resolve if it rules in favor of the fake electors.

Why is it taking so long for Judge Amy Totenberg (sister of Nina Totenberg, an NPR leftist talking head) to release her decision in Curling v Raffensperger? The remedy in this case is to throw out at least the BMDs (Ballot Marking Devices) of the Dominion system, if not the whole thing. Dr. Halderman changed the votes on a BMD, in the courtroom, in front of the judge, with just a ballpoint pen. In an earlier ruling related to this case, she threw out the previous electronic voting system, leading to Raffensperger bringing in Dominion, which has proven worse than the previous system.

Why? It looks very much like the famous 60 court cases that trollboy has wet dreams about. Political maneuvering and manipulation of the justice system. They seem to want to run out the clock, so that needed changes cannot be made in time for November. And if they steal Georgia again, they don't have to worry about elections anymore. It's amazing that Flock has no problem with the Supreme Court taking its time in the Trump immunity case or Judge Cannon taking her time on the many motion hearings she schedules, but he has a problem here.

District court decisions in cases like this can take a year or more, depending on the judge's caseload, the amount of evidence in the case, and the legal issues involved. The trial took four weeks, and there were seven law firms representing the various plaintiffs and two representing the state. By the way, the judge's earlier ruling in the case, denying the state's motion for summary judgment, was 135 pages long. So the delay here is not extraordinary.
