Norman Jewison, a director whose Oscar-winning films included “In the Heat of the Night” and “Moonstruck,” has died at 97.
Mr. Jewison, who also directed the big-budget musical “Fiddler on the Roof,” was best known for making films that addressed social issues.

I didn't know I could credit two of my favorite movies to one person. He'll be missed.
