How about Moonfall on HBO+? Bring the popcorn.

One really dreadful one was called Dragonslayer.

I respectfully disagree. Dragonslayer is one of those movies that I will stop and watch if I'm channel surfing. Not because the acting is all that great but I love the story.

Are you watching House of the Dragon and The Rings of Power?

Agreed, the story is a good one, but we are talking about “not so special effects” and really bad dialogue, so I think it qualifies.

Re: Teenagers from Outer Space
Yes to the former, no to the latter. I watched the first episode of The Rings of Power and was so appalled by the changes in the mythology that I couldn't bring myself to watch another one. I don't mind dark-skinned Elves or the addition of Harfoots, but the characterization of Galadriel was so changed as to be unrecognizable. And the end of the episode - Galadriel was offered the opportunity to return to Valinor but refused - in the show she decides to swim back to Middle-earth?Bob Juch wrote: ↑Tue Sep 13, 2022 7:39 amAre you watching House of the Dragon and The Rings of Power?
