Grilled cheese

#1 Post by Beebs52 » Tue May 10, 2022 11:24 am

I make a pretty decent grilled cheese sandwich. Lotsa butter, sliced processed cheese.

Well, Lily's ToasterGrills, bought at Costco, are amazing!!!!!!
You nuke'em 30 secs then toast one cycle.
They taste just like they're supposed to.
Well, then

I like to sprinkle the toasting sides of the bread with shredded cheese so you get some of that burnt cheese crunch with each bite.
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.

Damn you! Damn you both!

It's evening snack time. We're out of cheese. :(

There's a NorCal taco place, called "Jimboy's," that is known for its parmesan-dusted, grilled taco shells. They opened one in Anaheim a few years ago. The tacos were pretty good, but the location, online ordering and customer service all sucked so badly that I never went back. Now, 3 or 4 SoCal locations have all closed (just pre-pandemic).

From their location map, it appears the only location left outside of northern CA is in Fort Worth.
