An unexpected visitor...

#1 Post by Vandal » Sun May 01, 2022 6:33 pm

Our neighbor brought over one of the Boston Dynamics robots today. "Spot" moved effortlessly around our driveway and even up a small flight of stairs. My neighbor works at the same government site from where I just retired. Spot is used a recruiting tool and to show the power and usefulness of robots.

As dog-like as he was, I resisted the urge to pet Spot and ask "Who's a good robot?"

He started to take Spot home through a short trail in the woods that connect our properties. Spot got a little confused and kind of freaked out in the ivy, so they went home another way.

Poor thing has no ears behind which to scritch!
A child of five would understand this. Send someone to fetch a child of five.
