Rough T-bone update

#1 Post by a1mamacat » Fri Jan 28, 2022 12:49 am

A bit graphic…

Thom has been having anxiety attacks, and was finally able to tell Nancy that he has not been eating or sleeping, despite what the nurses were telling her.

The respiratory team had lowered his O2 to 4, and then revealed he does indeed have Covid pneumonia, and his lungs are full of crap. He is having a lot of trouble breathing, which brought on the anxiety attacks (no shit!) Nancy was trying to get an answer about why they would lower the O2 of a Covid pneumonia patient with muscular dystrophy.

They are now suggesting a possible tracheostomy. Nancy and her son are going to be meeting with the doctor and possible demanding he be transferred somewhere else.

Tracy asks for prayer to be upped, because they have been misled and he is much worse.

Damn it. I was dreading stopping by here this morning, and didn't want this to be the reason.

Praying and hoping for the best.

I literally did not know that he had major health problems until he mentioned that he was in a wheelchair a couple of weeks ago.

He's been in that wheelchair for a long time. He was in it when he was in the Ring of Fire on Prime Time Millionaire (the episode where fresca acquired his screen name here). --Bob
