Wish us luck
We're embarking on the limbo/hell/potential edenic repose that is house renovation. We called the contractor who did our last big house, to sell 8 yrs ago, so we could downsize, and land in our one story zero lot line patio home. Which we call the trailer park since you can hear a fart next door..m
Anyway, since we don't babysit full time anymore, and only hang with Merv, but not Dot... and aren't selling, I'm getting shit I WANT rather than what some random buyer may want.
No more baby poop brown (my sis's term) walls, and no more weird wallpaper and NO grays.
Gonna get a home eq loan since rates are low, as opposed to lump sum dist which would be a tax hit and loss of market revenue, assuming market doesn't weird out.
We're doing a lot. Staging will be a bitch because our footprint is way smaller. Poor Merv.
Anyway whoo.hoo.

Pinterest is evil. Talk about wormholes. I'm excited that our neighbors have the exact.SAME.color I have seen in my head for our bath and bedroom in their bath and bedroom. It has an actual name and manufacturer (they redid their place).

Paper dolls, vintage clothing. Redoing your vintage camper (no, we don't HAVE a vintage camper). Stylish pixie cuts for women of a certain age.
And decorating. Sigh.
FYI - Both WW and Plymouth Meeting - the walls of the entire house (except kitchen and bath) are Sherwin-Williams' Casablanca.
A lovely color and we can do a lot of decorating stuff with it. Warm cream. Shore BR - one has various blue accents, the other teal, aqua and coral.
