This poll in the USA Today is downright scary. According to a recent poll in the USA Today of people who voted for Trump in 2020:
58% believe the Capitol riots were "mostly an antifa-inspired attack that only involved a few Trump supporters."
27% believe the riots were "a rally of Trump supporters, some of whom attacked the Capitol."
4% believe they were "an attempted coup inspired by President Trump."
73% say that Biden wasn't legitimately elected.
17% say he was.
59% say they want Trump to run again in 2024
29% do not.
If Trump does run, 76% would support him in the primary and 85% in the general election.
If Trump forms his own party,
46% say they would support the Trump party
27% say they would support traditional Republicans
